Carbon Reduction Challenge Final Poster Expo

Please join the Ray C. Anderson Center for Sustainable Business and the Georgia Tech School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at our Carbon Reduction Challenge Final Poster Expo! 

Student Presentations start at 3p. Andrea Pinabell, President of Southface will deliver a keynote at 4p. 

Andrea Pinabell, President, is a purpose-driven leader at Southface, the leading Southeastern organization in the sustainable research, design, and implementation of a regenerative economy. An engineer by education, Andrea has over 25 years of wide-ranging sustainability expertise from energy and water conservation to sustainable business and community development, including her time prior to Southface as the Vice President of Sustainability and Global Citizenship at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc.

The winners of the Carbon Reduction Challenge will be decided based on i) the amount of carbon emissions avoided (whether actual or potential), and ii) the level of awareness fostered through the project. The winning team(s) will be announced at the conclusion of the Finalist Poster Expo and awarded cash prizes for their work. First prize is $5,000, second place is $3,000 and third place is $1,000.
