James Dyson Award 2018

The James Dyson Award, an international engineering and design competition for students and recent graduates, is now open for entries.

They reward socially conscious, innovative students and recent graduates for developing meaningful solutions to real world problems. The brief is simple: design something that solves a problem.

The award goes through several stages including selecting national winners and runners-up, and culminating with James Dyson selecting an international winner who is awarded $40,000. The international winner’s university department receives an additional $6,000.

From now until July 20, we’re looking for this year’s winners and they wanted to inform the students at Georgia Tech to make sure their ideas and inventions are entered. Students can visit JamesDysonAward.org to submit their entries and to learn more about the award and previous winners.
