Bloodborne Pathogens for Researchers Training

Bloodborne pathogens are of great concern to researchers dealing with human tissues, organs, cell lines, blood, or other bodily fluids. The course teaches students universal precautions as well as the causes of bloodborne diseases, proper personal protective equipment, and the regulatory basis for a bloodborne pathogens program. 

Who Should Attend? All current and prospective Georgia Tech faculty, staff, and students that conduct research in the laboratory environment that involves human materials of any type. This training should be retaken annually.
