Interested in becoming an Innovation Fellow?

The Student Innovation program, housed in the Center for Academic Enrichment (CAE), is inviting all full-time and evening MBA students who share our values of giving undergraduate students the tools to invent their future as they become agents of change in the world of innovation to apply to serve as Innovation Fellows.

What Innovation Fellows Do?

Fellows commit to working with student innovation teams that have passed the semi-final round of the Georgia Tech InVenture Prize competition to establish a detailed plan to make their invention/startup profitable within the next few years. 

Commitment

Fellows commit to working with InVenture Prize semi-finalists teams for a total of 22-25 hours during Spring 2019. This fellowship will be from January 28, 2019 – March 25, 2019. They are expected to be available for the InVenture Prize finals on March 13. Fellows are awarded a one-time $750 stipend funded by the College of Engineering. 

How to apply?

Interested students should submit a one-page essay and résumé to Recha Reid (Recha.Reid@gatech.edu). This essay should address the applicant’s areas of passion, any previous experience in entrepreneurship or leadership programs, and the skills and expertise they can bring to our team. The application deadline is January 24. 

Ideal candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, have a passion for starting a business, servant leadership and student innovation.
