Dr. Pinar Keskinocak Honored with the Outstanding Professional Education Award!
Dr. Pinar Keskinocak has been awarded the Outstanding Professional Education Award by the Faculty Honors Committee. The commitee recognized Dr. Keskinocaks' contribution to the field of professional education through the certificate program for Health and Humanitarian Supply Chain Management (HHSCM) at Georgia Tech, and letters from industry, fellow colleagues, and program graduates further underscored the value of those contributions.
Pinar will be presented with the award at the 2018 Faculty and Staff Honors Luncheon on Wednesday April 11, 2018.

Herrmann Named SEG Distinguished Lecturer
EAS Professor Felix Herrmann has been named as a 2019 Distinguished Lecturer for the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) for the period covering January through June 2019. In addition to his primary faculty appointment in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, Herrmann holds joint appointments in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the School of Computational Science and Engineering.

He is part of the Class of 2017 NAI Fellows, consisting of 155 renowned academic inventors who will be inducted during the Seventh Annual Conference of the National Academy of Inventors. The conference will take place on April 4-6, 2018 in Washington, D.C.
