Steve Usselman Speaks at Huntington Public Library

Steve Usselman presented an invited public lecture at the Huntington Public Library in Pasadena on Wednesday evening, June 12th. The Trent L. Dames Lecture in the History of Engineering is given biennially at the Huntington, one of the leading private research libraries in the world. 

The title of the talk was “Revolutionary Machine: How Pumps Shaped Modern California.” It was based on research Usselman conducted at the Huntington from July through December of 2018, while holding the Bern S. Dibner Fellowship in the History of Science and Technology.
