Amy D'Unger Named Chancellor's Learning Scholar

Dr. Amy D'Unger has been selected by the University System of Georgia (USG) Board of Regents to be a Chancellor's Learning Scholar (CLS).

The CLSs are representatives from each USG institution who facilitate Faculty Learning Communities (FLCs) on their campuses. FLCs are designed to give small groups of faculty the opportunity to engage in sustained, meaningful conversations about teaching and learning with supportive colleagues from across campus. Members will meet regularly and explore areas of interest, leading to changes in their teaching practice.

Dr. D'Unger's FLC will focus on transparency in teaching and learning (TILT). While TILT methodologies can assist all students, they hold particular benefit for first generation college students and member of under-represented minority groups.

Dr. D'Unger is the first faculty member in the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts to be named a Chancellor's Learning Scholar.
